Online Ceramics Gallery
(4 votes)

Online Ceramics aims to bring you the very best in contemporary British studio pottery. Every artist on the website is a member of the British Craft Potters Association and has worked professionally for at least 10 years, with most having well over 30 years experience. We would always encourage people to visit potters and buy work directly. However, not everyone can do this, so we have made the online buying experience as hassle free and risk free as possible. Put simply; • We take copious photographs of every pot so you can see them in detail, • you simply click a button and you'll have the pot in your hands within a few days, • we use PayPal for added security and peace of mind, and • if you aren't happy with your purchase, you have two weeks to return it, no questions asked. We stock work by a small number of selected potters. We have chosen, with them, representative samples of their work.

The Stamford Bridge Pottery

have been potting now for more than 20 years, originally trained in traditional methods by Tony Clee at Clee Pottery in Eton, before his retirement in the late 80's. Fifteen years ago, I moved to the historic village of Stamford Bridge, site of the famous viking battle where Harold defeated Hardrada in 1066 before marching on to be defeated at Hastings. Here I have continued to keep the traditional art of stoneware pottery alive and couple my passion for production with teaching the next generation of potential master craftsmen.
