Lesley Maddox Ceramic Art
(2 votes)

Lesley Maddox’s unique style of ceramic sculpture is hand-built, sculptural and figurative, with reference to landscape and the classical face of antiquity. Her aim is to express both the fragility and fortitude of the human spirit through the character of landscape. As her work has increased in size, she has been tackling the challenges of building on a large scale without losing the humanity her pieces convey. Lesley works from her studio on the edge of the Chiltern Hills in the south east.
